Runescape 1-99 range guide fastest way

This guide will tell you the fastest and best way to get from 1-99 Range on Runescape and will also inform you on wear you should train, what you should wear and will give many other useful tips.

Levels 1-20 - Train at cows either in Lumbridge or Falador.

Levels 20-40 - Train on Barbarians at Barbarians Village which is located West of Varrock and slightly south of Edgeville.

Levels 40-60 - Train on Rock Crabs north of Fremenik or you can also train on Moss Giants which are west of the fishing guild. There are various safe-spots at the moss giants so i recommend going there.

Levels 60-80 - Train on Ogres that are south of Yanille and north of Castle Wars. There are many walls here which can be used as safe-spots to range from behind.

Levels 80-99 - Chinchompa Method:- You will need around 54k Red Chinchompas and 1.5k prayer pots as well as 100 ranging potions. You will need to go to the chaos tunnels in the wilderness just slightly north of edgeville and this is where you will be fighting mummies. For this method you will also need at least 43 prayer as once down there you will have protect from mele constantly on hence why you have bought all of the prayer potions. For this Method you will need to wear full void, amulet of glory (teleports to Edgeville for restocking on prayer potions), snakeskin boots, ring of life (is a must just incase your prayer runs out), Ava's accumulator and an unholy book. Your invent should have 22 prayer potions, teleport tabs, 3 ranging potions as well as 1 Shark or Rocktail and a holy wrench if you have one. Once down the chaos tunnels you will need to head towards the mummies and when there you will need to turn your protect from mele on and also get the mummies to follow you this is because the more mummies that follow you when you throw a red chinchompa it will explode and hit the other mummies.

From levels 1-40 you don't really need to worry to much about what you are wearing when ranging i would advise wearing; leather/studded chaps, leather/studded body, leather vambraces, leather Coif or Cowl either an amulet of glory or an amulet of power.

Level 40+ : At Level 40 you should be wearing full green dragonhide with either a Robin Hood hat, Coif or an archer helm on your head. If you have completed the quest Animal Magnetism you should also consider wearing the Ava's Device from that quest as it will give a ranging bonus and also pick up any arrows, bolts or knives that you throw. On your feet you should wear either Snakeskin boots or Ranger boots. As an amulet you should be wearing an amulet of glory and if you can afford an archers ring i also recommend wearing one of those too.

Once you reach level 50 and 60 simply swap your Green dragonhide for the best dragonhide that you can wear for your level example: at level 50 swap green for blue and at 60 swap blue for red.

Level 70+ :- Full black dhide, Robin hood hat or archer helm or coif, archer ring, amulet of ranging or glory, Ava's Accumulator, snakeskin boots or ranger boots.

I advise using throwing knives rather than bows or crossbows this is because knives are much faster xp than the others.

There are other ranging armours that you can buy such as Armadyl etc but if you can afford them then the dragonhides work just as good. Another method would be wearing void but if you don't have void then i dont recommend getting it just stick with the d'hide.
