Runescape 3 1-99 Runecrafting RC Guide 2013 2014 (Runespan) EOC

Updated on April 20, 2014

In this guide i will tell you the best, fastest and most proftiable way to get 99 Runecrafting (rc) on the online game Runescape by using the Runespan method.

Runecrafting has been known as one of the hardest skills to master on Runescape this is due to the amount of effort and time that it takes in order to master this skill. The release of Runespan in April 2012 has made it much faster to get 99 and allot easier to achieve. In this guide there will be a breakdown off all of the different floors in Runespan and guides on how to achieve the most xp on each floor. This guide is also video based and if one does not like reading guides and would prefer to watch it instead, please scroll down to the bottom of this page and view the Youtube video at the bottom which will fully explain this guide as well.

Location

The Runespan in located on the second floor of the wizards tower, it easily recognizable as it appears as a large purple portal on the wall. If you are below level 33 runecrafting you will want to go in the teleport portal via the low level entrance and if you are above 33 runecrafting, you will want to enter via the high level teleport.

The best way for a member to get to the Runespan is by using the right click teleport on a wicked hood. If you do not have a wicked hood you can get one by talking to Tam McGrubor in Burthope wast of the Burthope Lodestone.

When you first enter the Runespan you will be offered the chance of a tutorial, i would strongly recommend that you do this tutorial as it will help explain how to use the Runespan properly and also the best ways to train effectively whilst there.

Nodes, Eflings and Rune Essence

On completeion of the tutorial you will understand that there are various floating essences surrounded around the runespan, what you want to do is to the collect essence from them and then use the essence on nodes and creatures to create runes. Depending on what kind of creature you use your essence on will depend on the type of runes that you will receive. I recommend that you siphon your essence on the Nodes as they give more XP than creatures and this therefore results in you leveling up faster.

Blue and Yellow Wizards

When on floors 2 and 3 you should be weary of any blue and yellow wizards that are lurking around as these are often quite good ways of gaining XP in the Runespan. Blue wizards will point you in the direction of yellow wizards and then once you have found a yellow wizard they will ask you to retrieve them a specific type of rune. Once you have retrieved them that particular rune you will be rewarded with experience however; you do not want to be searching the islands just for wizards as this will take far too much effort and time, only go to a wizard if you see them on a near by island otherwise it is not worth it.

Levels 1-33 (first floor)

For levels 1-33 you will find yourself on the first floor of the Runespan and i recommend that you simply siphon Cyclones as well as Mindstorms, by doing this you will achieve around 20-30k xp per hour. It should take roughly between 1-2hours to get to level 33 runecrafting from level 1 via using this method. Once you have achieved level 33 you can either stay on the island siphoning higher level Nodes or you can climb up to the next level via a vine ladder.

The Second Floor and Third Floor

When on the second and third floor the general method is to Siphon off both high level creatures as well as nodes that may appear within your vicinity. You don not want to be switching islands to find Nodes as this wastes time and that time could be spent on siphoning creatures for experience. You want to hang around islands that provide level appropriate creatures and nodes as this will maximize XP rates per hour. To find out where the best islands are on the floor to train effectively for your particular level skip to 4:50 on the video that is located at the bottom of this page. This video will also show everything that we have all ready been through in this guide.

An alternative way to get to the second floor and third floor is by using the high level entrance at the portal to enter the Runespan.
